Warm summer days are the perfect time to prepare delicious grilled dishes. Apart from traditional sausage and pork neck it is worth to bet on various salads and grilled vegetables. There are plenty of possibilities! Which dishes are ideal for barbecue? We suggest!
Gyros salad
This is definitely a filling dish that your guests will surely enjoy. The salad is extremely easy to prepare. You should buy chicken fillet, cucumbers, tomatoes, Chinese cabbage, corn, onion and spices – salt, pepper, oregano and hot pepper. The proportions can be arbitrary, everything depends on our taste. The chicken breast should be cut into cubes, put in a bowl, add spices, oil and put in the fridge for about 2 hours. During this time the meat will acquire excellent taste and aroma. Grill the chicken until golden brown. Then combine the sliced vegetables with the meat – the grill salad looks very well arranged in a glass dish. Lubricate each layer with ketchup and mayonnaise. Ready!
Grilled vegetables
Grilled vegetables are an excellent addition to meat, but also a lightweight appetizer. We can grill any vegetables. We offer a traditional combination of flavors, such as courgette, aubergine and mushrooms. To prepare a dish we will also need camembert cheese – its pieces will be placed on mushroom hats. Cut the vegetables into slices, sprinkle with salt and leave for about half an hour. After this time, wipe, place on a hot grill and grill for about 15 minutes on each side. Grill the mushrooms with camembert an extra 10 minutes until the cheese is dissolved.
Salad with young potatoes and asparagus
In the summer it is a sin not to use young potatoes and asparagus. During this period they taste the best! How to prepare a barbecue salad? Boil the potato particles in salted water, peel asparagus and also boil (about 10 min). After cooling down, cut the asparagus into smaller pieces. Mix vegetables with lettuce and cocktail tomatoes. The salad tastes great when poured with mustard and mayonnaise sauce.
Summer Coleslaw with radish and chives
Coleslaw is a very popular salad that goes perfectly with grilled meat. We will need a head of white cabbage, a bunch of radishes, 4 onions of spring onions and a bunch of parsley. Cabbage should be chopped, added salt and left to stand for 10 minutes. Chop the smoke and parsley and cut the radish into thin slices. Combine all the ingredients and pour the sauce over them. To prepare the sauce you will need white vinegar (1 tablespoon), thick Decorative Wine Mayonnaise (4 tablespoons), capers (2 teaspoons), salt and pepper. Ready!
Chickpeas salad with herbs, tomatoes and olives
Our next proposal is a salad based on chickpeas. It is very tasty and easy to prepare. Use 2 cans of chickpeas, 250 g of cherry tomatoes, 3 spring onions, a bunch of parsley, 1 glass of black olives and a bunch of mint. Drain the chickpeas from the marinade, cut the tomatoes in half and chop the spring onions, parsley and mint. Add olive oil, lemon juice and other ingredients to the chickpeas. The salad can be seasoned with salt and pepper.
