Specialists most often point out that a positive energy balance is necessary to increase muscle mass. The idea is simply that our body should receive more energy from food than it needs. Therefore, from the very beginning we should take care to gradually introduce additional calories into our diet. Of course, we must also take care to provide ourselves with all the necessary nutrients.
Trying to increase the muscle mass of the body, we must also, of course, intensify our training. In this case, it is worth consulting a professional, present at each larger gym, who will create an individual training plan for us based on our capabilities and needs. Thanks to this, we will be sure that we train all muscle parts evenly.
In order for our exercises to have the expected effect, our body must be supplied with the appropriate amount of muscle glycogen, which is activated by carbohydrates. It should be remembered, however, that proper storage in the body, as well as optimal muscle mass gain, can only be ensured if nutrients are supplied regularly. Therefore, in addition to properly selected foods, we must also take care to eat 4-6 meals a day, at intervals of no more than 3 hours.
