What should you pay special attention to during such a conversation? During the telephone conversation, the driver should describe in detail the symptoms of a fault in the car he or she noticed, and the mechanic should inform the customer about the cost of diagnostics or, if the symptoms clearly indicate a specific fault, inform him or her about the cost of repair. The mechanic must also indicate the nearest date of repair and the relative duration of repair work. Already during the telephone conversation, it is worth asking whether the workshop issues all the necessary documents before starting the repair, including e.g. the vehicle acceptance protocol. If not, it is not worth taking risks and using its services. Therefore, it is better to find out about it earlier, before we arrive there in a car that needs to be repaired or transport it on a trailer.

Mechanics working in mobile workshops arrive at the customer’s address and perform diagnostics and repairs “on the spot” without the need to transport the vehicle to a stationary workshop. So we can arrange to repair the fault in our own garage or under the workplace. This solution has many advantages. Firstly, it offers us a significant saving of time, and secondly – money (especially in a situation where our car would have to be transported to a stationary garage on a trailer). What is more, when deciding on the services of a mobile car repair shop we take care of our own safety, because we do not have to drive a repaired car to a mechanic.
