We often wonder how quickly I will notice the effects of the first exercises at the gym. It all depends of course on the type of training and the diet we use. If we try hard, it can happen in a really short time. I’ve been practicing for the second or third month and still can’t see anything”, “I was supposed to have a perfect body for my vacation, that’s in less than a month.
three weeks! What’s wrong with me?” – Which one of us has not spoken even once with great disappointment with similar sentences or at least once heard them from the lips of friends? It is not pleasant, of course, so what to do to somehow accelerate the whole process of weight loss and the fight for a nice figure.
Indeed, nowadays in today’s world we are very used to fast effects with relatively little effort. Many people in a short time are discouraged from exercises, when only after the first training with a well-known trainer a large tire on their stomach does not even move, and in addition, the kilometers run do not translate into a large number of lost kilograms. However, it is worth remembering that only regular exercises are able to help us. Sometimes it is better to go to the gym less times a week, but to practice longer. Unfortunately, the first effects in the form of burning calories and body fat gives us only training over 40 minutes. However, if our training is shorter, we can only burn sugars and proteins, and fats will not even move. For this reason, sometimes it is better to simply exercise, for example, only twice a week, but after an hour and a half. Such exercises will certainly bring us better results.
How long it takes for us to notice that our body starts to change under the influence of exercise depends mainly on the individual characteristics of our body – hydration, metabolism. The fact that our colleague, who regularly jogged, lost five kilograms does not mean that we will lose the same weight with a similar training program. So you should watch your body and adjust your expectations to your abilities. Self observation can be an excellent basis for future diet and exercise choices.
Watch out for the type of exercises you are doing
The time we slimmed down or built up a muscular figure depends, of course, on the type of exercise we want to perform. Well, some strength exercises, such as regular weight lifting, do not help us to get rid of extra kilograms, but only increase our muscle mass. However, when it comes to slimming exercises, e.g. cardio, also if they are not performed properly, they can have the opposite effect to the one intended. That is why it is always worth to carefully consult your entire training plan with a trainer who is a specialist.
Counting weight loss
One of the very popular methods of counting the predicted future weight loss is the rule that a person training after a month of really conscientious exercise should lose 3 to 5% of their current body weight. In the case of obesity, however, this percentage can be slightly higher. However, it should also be remembered that everything that directly concerns our body and its functioning, is an individual issue that is dependent on many factors, such as age, gender, as well as fitness, stress levels.No matter what kind of physical activity you decide to choose, the first effects of your work on the body can be seen after just a few weeks. Of course, this is an individual issue. If they are not yet physical effects, they are certainly manifested by a much better mood, greater efficiency, better condition and awareness of your body. Therefore, no matter what effect you want to achieve, it is certainly worth to start physical activity today. There is no need to wait.
